인사말

순환경제는 탄소중립 경제로 가기 위한 필수경제 입니다.

안녕하십니까, 탄소중립순환경제학회 초대 회장 이형술입니다.

글로벌 환경변화

우리가 당면한 글로벌 환경변화 관점에서 볼 때,
폐기물 증가로 인한 사회적 문제 심화, 중국 폐기물 수입 금지, 탄소발자국 등 제품 환경규제 강화 등에 대응하기 위해서는 저탄소 순환경제로의 전환이 필요합니다.
학회 결성을 위해 만난 수많은 사람들은 탄소중립과 순환경제라는 주제에 대해 지대한 관심을 보였습니다.

그러나 현재까지 전 세계적으로도 여러 분야의 전문가들이 모여 탄소중립과 순환경제라는 주제를 동시에 논의할 수 있는 플랫폼은 없었습니다.
이에 한국을 중심으로 한 커뮤니티를 만들고자 학회를 설립하게 되었습니다.

탄소중립과 순환경제

‘탄소중립 순환경제 학회’는 탄소중립과 순환경제에 대한 전 세계 각 분야 전문가들과의 논의를 통해 이를 실현하기 위한 방향성을 구축해갈 것입니다.
탄소중립 순환경제 학회는 대한민국이 기후변화에 효과적으로 대응하는 동시에 지속가능한 경제개발 전략 마련을 위한 발판을 마련해 갈 것입니다.
나아가 대한민국이 세계 탄소중립 순환경제 시대를 리드할 수 있도록 지원한다는 방침입니다.
이를 위해 우리 학회는 탄소중립 순환경제를 촉진·실현할 수 있는 연구개발과 더불어 관련 정책수립과 기업 활동에 필요한 지식·기술개발을 지원하도록 하겠습니다.

학회 연구의 주요 분야인 환경, 기후, 에너지를 중심으로 탄소발생량이 높은 화학소재, 제조, 자동차, 운송, 농업, 축산업 등 전 분야와의 긴밀한 협업을 이어갈 것입니다.
이를 통해, 학계와 공공기관, 산업계가 모두 관심을 갖고 소통할 수 있는 창구로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있을 것이라고 생각합니다.

우리 사회의 기후변화 대응 노력을 더욱 확대하고 학회의 발전을 위해 최선을 다하도록 하겠습니다.

Global Environmental Change

Given the pressing environmental challenges we are facing worldwide, we must move towards a low-carbon circular economy.
This shift is necessary to address the increasing social concerns arising from waste accumulation, limitations on waste imports, and the reinforcement of environmental regulations on product carbon footprint.

Until now, there hasn't been a platform that allows experts from various fields to come together and discuss both carbon neutrality and circular economy topics on a global scale. As a result, our mission is to establish a society in Korea that meets these needs.
The 'Carbon Neutral and Circular Economy Society' will convene experts from around the world to discuss and establish a path toward a carbon-free and circular economy.

Need to transition to a low-carbon circular economy

The Carbon-Neutral Circular Economy Society can help Korea tackle climate change and create a sustainable economic development strategy. Furthermore, our action and policy is to support Korea in leading the world to carbon neutrality through a circular economy.

We aim to promote and achieve a carbon neutral and circular economy by supporting research and establishing relevant policies and corporate activities. We will closely collaborate with all sectors, including high-carbon chemical materials, manufacturing, automobiles, transportation, agriculture, environment, and livestock. By doing so, we will act as a communication window between academia, public institutions, and industry.

We are excited to continue working to help our community fight climate change.
